Submarine counterweight is usually made from tungsten alloy which has the advantage of high density that is up to 18.5 g/cm3,denser than lead up to 65%, denser than steel up to 130%, corrosion resistant,non-toxic and environmentally friendly, mechanical properties to suit either dynamic or static locations.
