Tungsten Alloy Golf Club Counterweight

A golf club counterweight apparatus for selectively modifying the swing weight of a golf club having a shaft with a handle end and a head end, with the handle end including a handle and the head end including a head, the apparatus comprising a weight member including an outer surface and an inner surface defining a shaft aperture adapted for the shaft to fit therein in a complementary manner and also defining opposing first and second rims which bound the outer surface, the inner surface further including friction means for releasibly adhering to the shaft of the golf club wherein the friction means is secured to the inner surface.
